The real New Forest

A charming forest cob cottage which would suit anyone who has a love for the outdoors as well as appreciating the indoor charm of a cosy cottage, adorned with art by local artists. There is a log cabin in the garden with a large comfy sofa and desk as well far reaching views and WIFI connection. This makes a perfect outside office or relaxing garden room to keep an eye on the children while they run around. There is direct access to the forest via a small footpath over the road, and plenty more walks only a few minutes drive away accessed by free New Forest car parks. Bike rides aplenty from the door and far reaching views across fields and horses. A lovely outdoor eating space means that you can relax and enjoy summer days and as the sun sets you can watch it go down while roasting marshmallows over the fire pit or enjoying a steak from the BBQ supplied from one of our local butchers. There is an enclosed garden for children or animals to play in or to simply enjoy the tranquillity and relax with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. Inside the cottage there is a cosy lounge with sofas and ample seating for 6-8 with a flat screen TV and WiFi. It sleeps 6 across 3 bedrooms (1 x King size bed, 1 x Queen size bed and 2 x single beds). All the living space is on the ground floor, other than the twin bedroom which is on the first floor. There is additional space for 2 adventurous souls to sleep outside in the glamping log cabin on a double sofa bed (This needs to be agreed in advance to ensure bed linen is available). Please note that there is no bathroom or water outside near the glamping cabin - you need to share the one bathroom in the house with the other guests. The kitchen is well equipped and there is ample parking on the gated drive for 4 cars. The driveway is on a corner with a mirror to facilitate safe entry and exits.
